February 9th, Hobbiton

Who hasn't seen the Lord of The Rings and didn't adore those little fury creatures and their Utopian shire home? If you didn't, you might want to look a little deeper into your innocent childlike Hobbit side. It was jolly good fun to see the set and watch Lisa and Maddy dance around the "Party Tree." McKenna fit wonderfully into those Hobbit home and could have been cast for the part. She also took over the camera and became a mini "Peter Jackson" in her own right. Cheers to Hobbiton!

What fun being on the set of Lord of the Rings (again) this time in Hobbit town. I remember you visited several "LotR" filming sites earlier on the trip.

I just love following along with this great adventure. I believe the most amazing transformation in the whole family is the "Smiling Hair God" - Curt. (You know the one with the changing Goatee)

I can't wait for you guys to get back so we can see all the pictures and videos.

Hugs
Poppy

Hey will you be back in time to go to camp Seymour, because Rachel and I really want you to go!
Even if you get this later I wanted to say Happy Valentines Day!

I will give you a ton of stuff we have been doing in class, lets see.
We got a new jugle-bug! Also there has been full fridays because of snow and flood days, and Rachel and I are the only ones who still talk about you!

I just can't wait till you come back, because we are . . . .I won't tell you!
Love ya, Cassidy and Rachel

Mae Govannen!(well met in elvish)
Looks like fun! I am guessing you visited west farthing!(in the shire) AT the time did you see any signs referencing The hobbit movie coming out soon?(coming out2011-2012) Did you visit Bagshot row? And in Bagshot row did you go to bag end? Hobbits are between two and four feet (0.61 m - 1.22 m) tall, the average height being three feet six inches (1.07 m). They dress in bright colours, favouring yellow and green. Nowadays (according to Tolkien's fiction), they are usually very shy creatures, but are nevertheless capable of great courage and amazing feats under the proper circumstances. They are adept with slings and throwing stones. Their feet are covered with curly hair (usually brown, as was the hair on their heads) with leathery soles, so most Hobbits hardly ever wear shoes. Hobbits can sometimes live for up to 130 years, although their average life expectancy is 100 years. The time at which a young Hobbit "comes of age" is 33, thus a fifty-year-old Hobbit would only be entering middle age. While you were there did you see this?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Colina_de_Hobbiton.jpg

Well hope you had fun... Might be a little late to post this but i am envious you got to the sets of the lord of the rings!
